Jackie and Audrey are back in business and I have to say that the coffee shop made my latest jaunt to TB so much sweeter......a callaloo omelette johny cakes and the rich coffee was a real treat. The reasoning with great company complimented a hearty healthy breakfast, setting me up for a perfect day in TB. I am glad 'Heart of Love' cafe is back after a well deserved break. I missed the coffee shop.
Can't wait to visit again on my next trip.

If you search the archive, there may be an advert from a year or so ago on the bakery, formerly
Heart of Love Bakery. The breakfasts here are wonderful. And if Jackie ever uses that mandoline I gave Bev for her to borrow, so would be the homemade potato chips/crisps. And no, it's NOT
a Tim Horton's/lol. God forbid. This is personal service and very good food, all homemade.

The food was very good & reasonably priced every time I have been there.

When were Jackie and Audrey *out* of business? I was there in April and May and they were going strong. Well, whatever happened (if something did), I'm glad it's in the past and they are back to making wonderful breakfasts and fostering great conversation and atmosphere. If I had to go without Heart of Love when I visited TB, my trip would be sorely lacking! The music on Sunday mornings, the rapid-fire 'reasoning' and the warmth of that place are just amazing ... to say nothing of the excellent omelettes, the french toast and the fruit bowls ...

I am sooo glad to hear that this is the same place. They had some awesome ackee and saltfish loaves!! I hope the new owners will make them a part of the menu!

They close down every year during the slow time, and thankfully, open up again for the season.

The only coffee shop I'm familiar with in TB is the one run by Morris(great food and coversation as well). Jackie and Audrey's place sounds great,I'd like to go there when I'm in TB for Dec so please tell me where in TB I can find it. Thanks

To get to the coffe shop: walk down the road from Jakes, past Morris' shop (stop for coffe & chat), past the Treasure Beach Hotel, and it will be on the right.
