Miss Clem sustained a severe spinal cord injury on August 21, 2005 when involved in a car accident which has left her almost completely paralyzed from her neck down, with only limited movement in her arms - but no movment in her hands or fingers. She was in hospitals and rehab centers for over 6 months and is now staying with her daughter where 24 hour care is needed.
If you are not able to attend the concert but would like to make a donation please send a check made payable to Rebecca Wiersma and mail it to her attention at Calabash Bay P.A., St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, West Indies. She will forward the funds to the family. Make sure to note on the check the funds are for Miss Clem's on-going care and medical expenses.
Let's all come out, support this worthy cause and enjoy a family night filled with great gospel music!

God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,and He moulded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.
Oooh mother,I wish that I could take your heart,
And cleanse it with my tears,
And make your sorrows go away,and answer all your fears.
Keep on keeping on,with faith,hope and courage you will carry on.
Love and best wishes for my wonderful mother.

hello Miss Clem
Our thoughts are with you and we shall see you soon...
does any one know how the grand gospel concert turn out for clemeta. hope it was a good turn out.
Unfortunately, it was a very rainy beginning. The early part of the night was a bit of a washout which kept many folks who were planning on coming to not come. The rains, fortunately, subsided abuout 9:00 and the concert went on!
Due to the rain, I left my camera home, so I have no photos. But the turnout was good and every one of the performers were fantastic.
The highlight of the night was when Brother West sang a song he had wrote for the community of Treasure Beach. If anyone could get the words to this song, I would love to post it on the forum.
So although I think the turn out would have been much greater if we didn't have the rains, the turn out was still good and the night was great fun. I vote for more gospel concerts in the future!!
