It has been five lonely years since
we lost our mother with a heart of gold,
who was more to us than wealth untold.

With only memories for us to keep,
we've lost, but God has gained
one of the best mothers the world contained.

Her heart was the truest in all the world.
Her love the best to recall,
for none on earth can take her place
she is still the dearest mom of all.

If she could have said those last words,
this is what she would have said:
"This life for me has truly passed,
I've loved you to the very last,
weep not for me but courage take
and love each other for my sake."

Sadly missed by,
Oriel, Allison, Frankie, Geo, Sam and Javid.

Missed but never forgotten. Miss Ethel left her positive influences in every life she touched. I know she did in mine and I remember her often. I will always remember her strength, courage and never ending sense of humor.

Well well Etsie. Again your glorious smile comes alive to bring us all again into your caring arms. They say you are never gone until you are forgotten Ets, so I guess you never will be.
You and I often spoke on your porch about God and the like, and yes I think that what we agreed upon still holds true..that one day we will sit and laugh again there on that porch drinking our tea..but then it will be for eternity.

Still missing you,
Greg

When you think about it though we all have to go someday. Unfortunately you had to leave us behind but i know someday we will see you again. Aunt Ethel,

You are surely missed, you were such a wonderful person to be around. You change moods when you enters the room, Not to mentioned to your cornmeal dumplings.

You are in a better place, free from all sorrows and pains, may you continue to rest in God's arms.

Aunt Ethel,(Ets) as we used to call you. Oh, how, we miss you. I fondly remember one of your grand daughter and I giving you so much trouble, staying up late at night talking, when you repeatedly tell us to go to bed. I remember you chasing us with the Jack-tom-put-it-to-right strap. We miss you dearly. You were such a lovly person. It seems you always have a kind word to say to me, accompany with a lovly smile, starting when I was a young girl, and even as I reach my level of maturity, you still continue to encourage me. while we miss a grand aunt grand mother, mother and neighborhood mother, heaven has surly gain an angel.
in loving memory
Ets
