Hello All.
I have been looking for info on Mount Zion, but can't find much. Does it have any hiking trails open to the public?
How long is the trip from TB to Mount Zion?
Thanks,
-john
Isn't Mt. Zion in St. Ann's parish ?
As far as I know, there's a Mount Zion in the parish of St. James (see http://fallingrain.com/world/JM/12/Mount_Zion.html).
John, both St. Ann's parish and St. James Parish are on the north coast, so the trip from TB will take you a couple of hours, even if you don't use public transportation and hire a driver instead.
Thanks for the quick replys.
Sorry for the confusion, I am speaking of this Mt. Zion in St. Elizabeth parish:

Jamaica ATV Bike Tour from Montego Bay
4 hours - Ride over beautiful Rose Hall Estate on your own 4-wheeler ATV bike. As you ride, you may catch a glimpse of mongoose, hummingbirds and other local wildlife of Jamaica. You'll also visit an 18th century church in Mount Zion and mingle with the locals. This is the most fun you can have on four wheels! ...

I'm not familar with that Mount Zion or that area of St. Bess.
I'm not sure if Mount Zion is a town/city, but it looks like it is not the name of a mountain, as I first thought.
It appears to be in the Nassua mountains at the atltitude of 2486 feet. Does anyone know the names of the montains in this area?
Thanks,

Is it the Santa Cruz mountains?
I don't think it is the Santa Cruz mountains.
Here is more info I dug up:

So it looks like the mountain is in St. Mary, and a populated place in St. Elizabeth with the name of "Mount Zion". Maybe it goes by another name?
The TB area does not have much info on mapquest.com

Thanks to everyone who is helping me figure this out.
