The Tourism Product Development Company Limited held a TEAM JAMAICA training programme at Taino Cove in Treasure Beach on June 26 - July 7,2006.

It is a pitty that the dates of this event were not made public so that we could of all had a chance to participate.

Ah, my friend Aman, It is good to see him participating and smiling as I recall it from my visit as well.

Pretty cool organization.

It is a pity you did not call TPDCo. I called the organization and asked them to notify me on when and where they would be holding their next programme. They did and that is how our staff participated in the programme. Give them a call and they will keep you informed on their next training date.

The other way to keep informed is to join a tourism organisation. If your guesthouse if over a certain number of rooms, then you can join JAVA and ultimately JHTA - then you can attend the JHTA South Coast meetings and be kept abreast of what is going on all the time.

Another person you could contact is Kory South, who is a JHTA Counsellor in your area...and Judy Schoenbein who is the JHTA Area Chairperson.
