Next, is the try-outs for the Jamaica National team starting this week. The team will be playing in a competition in Trinidad. We wish our Treasure Girls who are trying out for positions on the national team all the best.

A knock-out competition will begin in June. We hope to bring that trophy home to St. Elizabeth as well!!

Thanks, as always, to all our sponsors with special thanks to Harry & Ethel Wiersma (my parents) for coming through yesterday with a donation making it possible for us to attend the match yesterday!

Listen to Hot 102 on Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. with Earl Moxam interviewing members of the Women's Cricket Association and, of course, The Treasure Girls. Thanks so much Earl for coming out yesterday and supporting your home team.

Big up to Sadie James - secretary, Darin James - treasurer, our wonderful coach/manager Silvan James and the whole team for all their hard work and determination.

That is brilliant news! Well done to each and every one of you!

I tell you, the Treasure Girls are fearsome. I watched them play a game in March and there is nothing 'girlie' about their game at all. They are all true professionals!

Best of luck with the national trials!

WHAT A FETE ? WHAT A SHOW ? TREASUREBEACH GIRLS GO! GO! GO! Congratulation to the team members, coaches, sponsors and supporters. From the late 1960,s I observed that the community of Treasure Beach always give good support to Sandy Bank school cricket team. Cricket is tick in the blood of the community and I am happy to see it paying off.
Is is possible to post the names of players and coaches ? I am sure many of us abroad would like to identify with them.
