WHEN WILL OUR ROADS BELOW THE STATION TO MAAS FRED CORNER BE FIXED? I HAVE HEARD SO MANY DATES AND PLANS WHICH HAVE EXPIRED. PLEASE CAN SOME AUTHORITY TELL US. WE ARE TOO DECENT, PATIENTLY WAITING, (TOURIST AREA?), WHAT A SHAME!! COME ON! HURRICANE SEASON IS SOON UPON US AGAIN, DOES THE AUTHORITY WANT US TO BE TOTALLY CUT-OFF. THIS IS GOING ON OVER 2 YEARS NOW. EVERY ROAD AROUND IS BEING PATCHED AND THE OLD WHARFE ROAD IS GOING TO BE RE-PAVED. WHAT HAPPEN TO THAT PIECE OF MAIN ROAD? WHAT HAPPEN TO THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY, ARE WE COMFORTABLE WITH THIS ROAD? MEK WE BAWL OUT!!

They are complaining about alll inclusive not about the roads. The poor men have to be fixing their cars everyday , teh poor will always be poor. Jason is on the tourist board what is he doing? enough is enough.

How about a new cart for House to house to drive to clean the streets, once that runs on four weels, that he does not have to hold up.

Fed up,

I dont think this is a job for Jason or the Tourist Board/Association, it is the responsibility of your MP. Be patient it will soon be patched up; remember they are talking Election.

I support the cries for all the roads to be fixed properly. It is a shame! Another problem I really am curious about is the flood abatement project that was supposedly funded and the terrain surveyed. What is the status of this project? Now that our MP is no longer a minister could he devote some of the spare time he might have to pushing for some real work? After all, another hurricane season is right around the corner.

Hello TIRED A WAITING', if the energy expended in our bawlings out were applied to fixing parts of the roads with local resources and without blocking and demanding $, I think it would command wider sympathy.

But, where did I hear it that the public is not allowed to repair the public roads due to public liability considerations?

"Ah dem did patch di road your hana!...an is hit caaz it!"
