Please tell me it's not true that sweet Stuart was killed in a car accident last night? This is the a time when I'm really hoping the message mill coming from Jamaica to America is wrong? Any news?

I heard the same thing last night from my fiance in Great Bay.
I was hesitant to post anything on here this morning....like Lynnette, not knowing if it was true.
Seems as though it is true.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and family.
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear this news....

My brother told me it is true and he even went to the scene of the accident. He said that it was sad to see.
My condolences goes out to Shirley and family.

I am feeling stunned at the moment. Stuart was my oldest 'best' friend and although we didn't get together often enough once Stu went on his permanent holiday to Jamaica, we both remained great mates and looked forward to the next time we could meet up. Stuart was the big brother I never had and I've always looked up to him as a role model. We grew up at the local tennis club, where we played for hours on end, especially during the school holidays. We made a great team on and off the court and I am thankful for our friendship. Stu was a fantastic bloke who would do anything for anybody and I'm going to miss him greatly. My thoughts are with Shirley who I am still looking forward to meeting, Diana and Matthew.

I was truly stunned when I heard the news about Stuart. Stuart worked very closely with us while Sandy my sister was away last year. He was always very thoughtful and very quick to deal with the many challenges that came up during that period.

It is really sad when someone that has so much to offer his community and his (adopted) country is no longer there to complete the task... yet one can see by the response to his untimely passing that he really did touch so many in such a short period.

My condolences go out to Shirley and the rest of his family he will be truly missed.... and always remembered.
