My brother is dying to go there. But his wife is more a Sandals type. They may bring their youngest child ( 16 year old girl). When my brother & I discussed it he felt that the girls would not be happy with out ac , screens & hot water. But, he is not loaded, either.

I'll send him the link for Taino Cove. Maybe it would be a good compromise.

My kids love the area and are about the same age. There are plenty of places with AC, so that is not an issue. You can go the route of a hotel, like Taino Cove, Sunset, MarBlue etc, or you can do the guest house thing. I enjoy the guest house experience more but have done both and have always enjoyed the area.

My son needs TV, AC, screens and pool. Sunset worked for him. Jakes might suit the Sandals crowd....
