check out the ad for Vikings House ... they have really nice bikes and great weekly rates. they'll deliver to your guest house and pick up at the end of your rental, too.

Look in the 'where to stay' section on this site for a link to their ad.

best rates from Morris's Coffee Shop in Swaby's Plaza - Jamaican style bikes.....
Only problem is we can not recall the exact amount Morris charged.
But I can promise you it was not expensive.
May I suggest that you bring a patch kit and a pump, if you have a small one from home.
Happy trails :-)

There are 2 local guys in St.Elizebeth, one is Gairy Brooks (scooters) in TB try him at (876)452-4490 and the other is Huey's (motorcycles) (876)962-8122 in Mandeville. If your talking pedal bikes, Huey's shop in TB sells mountian bikes for $100us or less...

Correction: Huey's in Mandeville is in Manchester not St.Elizebeth. Its location is just east of the parrish borderline.

Last time I rented bikes at Morris', rate was
US$10/day -- less if you rented multiple days/week
-- plus a small refundable deposit for the bikelock, key and airpump. No helmets, tho. Stephanie Genus rents
bikes and helmets at Viking's House in Great Bay and will deliver free to you. See her ad here --Viking's House on tb.net -- for a full spectrum of bike/sports rental gear and pricing.

Vikings 965-3110 or 430-6983 call us or book online (www.ItalJamaica.com ) great bikes (Treks, SPecialized etc.) with suspension etc free delivery $20 US per day or $75 per week--even cheaper if you are renting snorkeling gear, boogie boards, kayaks etc from us.

Morris Q-En at the plaza just down from Jakes "Jamaican Style" bikes $400 J- (less than $6 US per day).

Other option, rent at Jakes, great bikes, with guide, $35 US per day!

So there is a wide range of options in quality and price.
