I'm looking at staying at Driftwood or Sunsplash. Anyone have any opinion on which would suite a family with children better?

Recent guest comments from a family of 4 guests who holidayed for two weeks at Driftwood:

"We had a great trip. Absolutely the most relaxing
trip we've ever had. Driftwood was awesome and Marie and Selvin are treasures. We made the usual
trip to YS Falls, but mainly our favorite thing
was just to sit around the house enjoying the
sun and breezes ... and eating! Marie fixed us lobster for our anniversary and we had pineapple upside down cake and ice cream for dessert. I've got a couple of notebooks full of journal entries
that sometime I'll get typed up into a trip report. Between my oldest daughter and I, we also took almost 600 photos."

DRIFTWOOD is a 5 min. walk via oceanfront path that skirts tidepools and beach coves to
GREAT BAY beach, one of the area's best --with
very child-friendly waters. It's where
local fathers teach their kids how to swim...

I don't know about Sunsplash but I can comment on 'Driftwood'. We own the villa 'Lyric' in Calabash Bay and I can tell you that when our own house is booked there is only one other place we would stay and that's 'Driftwood'. It's a fantastic property and Marie is outstanding. The house is spacious and has just been beautifully renovated (thanks to Hurrican Ivan). I love the little private beach just to the right of the property and the fact that the area is so quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend it.
