Any suggestions, recommendations or knowledge of what's avail is appreciated! Also planning to head up to Mandeville/Christiana area for a day or two so any info on places there greatly appreciated as well! Thanks so much!

Some of these places may be full up but, I have stayed in (atleast twice each) and would highly recomend Irie Rest (Billy's Bay), Viking's House (Great Bay) and Shakespeare Cottage (Frenchmans Bay)

Enjoy TB !

Viking's House (see where to stay or our website
http://www.ItalJamaica.com) has one room available from Dec 23 onward. You can email for a reservation (recommended if you want a sure spot).

If you go to the site for Karibu cottage (in "Where to Stay") you will see a note for Sandy Hill Cottage, run by Prof. Call Prof and he will take care of you. Very cheap.

Great view out to sea, kitchen facilities, the other side of Frenchman's bay from Jakes, near the great bakery/breakfast lunch place - Hearts of Love. The linoleum may be cracked, but it is clean and the fans work. And interesting guests from all over the world, along with Jamaicans on holiday.

Quieter than Golden Sands when the Wild Onion is in full swing, as it will be for Christmas and New Years.
