Just checked the National Hurricane Center website (http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at2+shtml/211437.shtml?5day) to look at the 5-day projection ... looks like TB is in for another round of rain and wind. Let's hope this TD fizzles out before it gets to JA, or, if it doesn't, let's hope it the hit isn't too heavy.

My thoughts are with all my friends in TB (including all the ones I've yet to meet).

Gamma seems to be on the move again, headed along the eastern coast of Central America/Mexico, then into the open Caribbean and on to Cuba and then Florida.

Here's the latest projected path.
gamma_11-19

While there is no threat to Jamaica/Treasure Beach, none of those places need another storm either.

Hang on up there!

I live in Florida. I didn't have power for 13 days after Wilma. We'll survive in FL (God willing).

I'm just thankful that my family in freinds in Jamaica will be spared.

Nurse, looks like you guys may be spared this time as well.

from weather.com
Gamma has been downgraded to a Tropical Depression as of 7 a.m. EST Nov 20 when it was located about 215 miles east-southeast of Belize City, Belize.

Portions of Honduras were flooded from the Gamma's rains and unfortunately there were some fatalities.

The forecast calls for Gamma to weaken further with no impact to the United States.

Thanks Tb.net (Eric?)
I hope so.

I just really didn't want to see TB take another hit or have more flooding.

I breathed such a sigh of relief when I saw that Gamma wouldn't hit TB ... only to sadden when I heard the news of the deaths in Central America. I hope it continues to weaken and doesn't do any more damage.

I also hope (knocking wood now ...) that this will signal the end of the this crazy season.
