We would like to express our sympathies to the family and friends of Novlet Ebanks. Miss Novlet was 50 years old and left her husband Cardell, four children, Hopeton, Camal, Nadine, and Omar and five grandchildren.

Miss Novlet was born in Clarendon and moved to Treasure Beach when she was 16 years old after meeting her husband Cardell. For the last 14 years you could find Miss Novlet at the Sandy Bank School grounds selling snack items to the school children.

Miss Novlet will be remembered as a very loving and kind person and will be missed by many.

I would like to add my personal condolences to the Ebanks family. Nadine and I had the pleasure of working together at Villa Ja Ja for a few years.

Omar has been working with Treasure Tours for the last five years and during those years there has never been a time when he has not been there volunteering to help out in many situations, especially after Ivan when Omar was seen delivering zinc, water, and whatever else was needed throughout the community.

Miss Novlet's loving hand shows through in the kindness of her children and through her children and grandchildren, the memory of Miss Novlet will live on.

Condolence to Novlette's husband, children and grandchildren. Her death is definately a shock to us. I am appealing to everyone to take good care of themselves. HAVE A YEARLY MEDICAL CHECK-UP, and if one is not feeling well don't take it for granted, and diagnosed yourself. Please see a Doctor immediately. May God bless this family and comfort them at this time of their bereavement
May she rest in Peace.
Love

I am taking this opportunity to express my deepest sympathy to the Ebanks family. I hope this well-known Psalm will comfort you at this time:

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anonintest my head with oil, my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Bible, 23rd Psalm

Miss Novlette,

Miss Novlette was a shining star
Who helped to light this world of darkness.
Her light has now gone dim.
God took her away so she could sit with Him.

Anyone who knew her
Would know why we say
Miss Novlette was the nicest person
You would meet each day.

Though Miss Novlette has left us
With many grievers behind,
We are happy to say
She was the best of the humankind.

Miss Novlette you were a mother to us.
All the children of Sandy Bank School.
P.T.O.

We miss you dearly
But God wanted you home.

A THOUGHT FOR THE EBANKS FAMILY:

We are all ships returning home
laden with life's experience,
memories of work, good times and sorrows,
each with his special cargo;
And it is our common lot
to show the marks of the voyage,
here a shattered prow, there a patched rigging,
and every hulk turned black
by the unceasing batter of the restless wave.

May we be thankful for fair weather and smooth seas,
and in times of storm have the courage
and patience that mark every good mariner;
And, overall, may we have the cheering hope of joyful meetings,as our ship at last drops anchor
in the still water of the eternal harbor.

~Max Ehrmann,American Poet
