I've finally accepted that in fact, yes, I have returned from my wonderful visit to Treasure Beach (it's 2 weeks already). I just wanted to thank everyone who made my trip so fabulous--my old friends and all the new people I met. I'd been a little worried about traveling alone. I'm so used to having at least one companion along on a trip. But there are too many great people in TB for me to be lonely for long. Thanks to Andy for the bike he outfitted for me so I could get around a little more quickly and see more of the area. Thanks to Joe from Calabash Bay who was patient enough to answer all my questions about fishing even as he was getting his boat ready to head back out to sea. Thanks to Karen for teaching me (or trying to) how to make calalloo and saltfish. Thanks to the un-named man who helped unsnaggle my skirt from the barbed wire fence the wind blew it into. Thanks to Fabulous ... well, just for making it possible for me to now say that I know someone called Fabulous! Anyway, I had a great time, and I'm already planning my next visit ... October? November? We'll see.

Ah, you bring back all the great memories of the trips to Treasure Beach. Here I am just 3 months since my last trip, browsing this site, recent photos, new places to stay and just thinking that I am getting my Jamaican itch again.

I agree with you on planning the next visit. November/December, for sure. I can't wait.
