When we asked Rebecca of Treasure Tours to recommend a good cause in Treasure Beach to which we might contribute, she suggested the TBWG. We can't think of a more deserving group to help. You can read about all their activities at http://janewingate.com/CD/TBWG.html.

We would like to give a portion of the proceeds from all sales of our CD "Caribbean Cantata" sold through this website (treasurebeach.net) to the Treasure Beach Women's Group.

"Caribbean Cantata" is a CD with 2640 photos of Jamaica, with texts. Many of those photos were taken in the Treasure Beach area. But "Caribbean Cantata" is more than just a CD full of photos; it is an efficiently-programmed set of slide shows that you view with your web browser. I've had this CD for about 6 months now. I never even take it out of my computer, because the photos really transport you to Jamaica. Jane, the photographer does amazing work. I ordered several of the CDs as Christmas gifts....everyone has loved it and wants more. There's more on her website....I especially love the autumn photos there. Thank you Jane for sharing such beauty and for helping the community in Treasure Beach.

This is easily the best visual collection of Jamaican images I've ever come across. That buying this CD will send some $ help to Treasure Beach is a bonus that should send one to the order page. I can't think of any Jamaican visitor not being thrilled to receive this as a gift nor any "not yet-visitor" getting one to understand why we go here. Someone mentioned a link to check it out first and that is a great idea. What a marvelous collection. Whenever our Milwaukee weather gets me down, I pop the CD in and get transported to my favorite places.
