If you are longing for Jamaica, and you are presently stuck somewhere else, why not beat those blues with a new Jamaican book or dvd. Maybe your reggae collection could use a new cd.
We are inviting you to check out our now open e-shop to get your fix and benefit Treasure Beach at the same time.
10% of all proceeds from Amazon.com purchases made at our e-shop are going to community groups in Treasure Beach FOR AS LONG AS THE E-SHOP is opened.
We have started with a selection of Jamaica Guidebooks, books about Rastafari, DVDs of Reggae and Jamaican movies as well as our picks of "must-have Marley music"
We will be adding alot more content from Amazon which will benefit community organizations in Treasure Beach. In addition, we will profile local craftsman and artisans and their work which will be for sale in our e-shop.
Please check it out at www.ItalJamaica.com
then click on "e-shop"
or you may click on the links in this site
"where to stay" then "vikings"
OR
"eat and play" then "vikings gear rentals"
then follow the eshop link.
Brilliant idea, Stephanie!
Stephanie:If you're developing an artist roster/gallery on your site above, L.T.'s work in lignum vitae might be augmented by that of two other wood/stone sculptors, Gerry McDonald who lives on the Darliston Road up from Whithorn in Caledonia and who sometimes has a little roadside booth near Robert's/Horizon in Belmont with furniture/chairs/tables/stands as well as carvings; and Wangy/Lester Lee of Morgan's Pass, Clarendon, whose work is shown at MounTambrin and soon in a new stone gallery up there on the mountaintop.
Both are worth searching out.
Thanks for your encouragement and input. Hope to feature some of the artisans soon! Keep checking back.
Remember to get your copy of Dr. Honeyghan's latest book. She is using proceeds from her book to support the Treasure Beach women's group
