We've received a couple of posts about some of the sales information that's been left here. While we did not approve the posts since they were negative in tone and outside of our posting guidelines, we do recognize that some of the previous messages left here have been a little over the top and get away from the true spirit of TBNet.

This has prompted us to set a standard for advertising on the forum:

- The forum is a perfect place to announce specials, last minute openings due to cancellations, new properties, etc. and we encourage everyone to use it accordingly.

- When advertising, provide a link to your website or ad allowing those interested to access your site/ad directly to seek further information on the property mentioned. Be transparent in your connection with the property/service advertised.

- Use simple, straightforward language and let the area/service sell itself.

We appreciate your cooperation in this matter and look forward to your valued participation on the forum in the future.

One of the nicest things about the Treasure Beach area is that there are so many different kinds of places to stay. Cheap or expensive, air-conditioned and cable, and everything in between. So it would be nice if we were all less judgemental about our personal choices and just made everyone welcome.
