Like a few other people, I have been trying to spread the word about Treasure Beach so the local economy would not suffer too much from a drop in visitors after Hurricane Ivan.
I was interested in feedback about whether level of visitors had returned to normal. How is it going?

On sites like www.lonelyplanet.com 's discussion board ("Thorn Tree"), there is a solid little group of people who frequently mention Treasure Beach as a great place to visit (but only where it suits what people are looking for).

Guilty I always suggest TB on LP's thorn tree if people seem interested in less touristy areas
