LEN PARCHMENT and a strong-backed crew of 5 have just completed the first 10-day stretch of further improvements at Billy's Bay beach; resanding, bushing and planting continue. New tidal pools and snorkelling grounds are now closer in-shore and the banks of sand at the Duna end have been re-established, and some new ones uncovered. That's a new coat of oil-based paint Len's added to LA CASA DUNA, by the way --
first of many surprises at the villa to be announced here. Soon come...
Will be in TB from Sunday, March 13-20th. Although have been many times before, have never found a snorkeling spot, nor transportation (boat?) to one. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Are you kidding? Treasure Beach is full of places to snorkel...two reefs at either end of Calabash Bay. One of which goes down the coast towards Great Bay and the other towards Frenchman. Great snorkelling in Billy's Bay...practically anywhere. Treasure Beach is more reefs than beach so just take a walk or bike ride with your snorkelling gear in tow and hop into the water anywhere you can.
