Check in with Lennie at IRIE REST in Billy's Bay, one of the better beaches in the area, 3/4 miles long with a fishers' landing at THE BUCCANEER end where you can higgle for just-landed catches for dinner.

Give Calabash House and Golden Sands a look as well. They're on the beach and economical and are both in the 'main' part of TB, Calabash and Frenchmen's Bay.

See recent article from ATLANTA JOURNAL
on Pedro Banks shipwrecks.

http://www.admiraltycorporation.com/CurrentTreasureNews/AJC20040526.htm

or google/yahoo search 'jamaica shipwrecks'.

what struck me in the article was "It's estimated there are about 300 shipwrecks on the Pedro Banks, and maybe 10 percent are treasure ships," said Clarence P. Lott III, a vice president at Admiralty. "It's considered one of the richest areas in the world for sunken ships."
