I don't believe words can describe the emotions present at the tree lighting this year. As always it is a wonderful night where family and friends gather around. The added joy is seeing folks who live abroad but have come home for the holidays.
The rains tried to dampen the night, but we would not have it!
The anticipation grows as the night moves on, until at 10:00 p.m. the Kingfisher Plaza tree lights up the sky and the crowd collectively gasps at it's immenseness and beauty.
This year, Oral and his elves had to attach sticks to the tree to make up for the loss of limbs from Ivan. The effect was an even fuller tree from last year. There is no way these pictures can do justice to this incredible tree.
The gospel singers now have the crowd dancing and singing, bringing the vibe up to a Christmas high culminating at midnight with candles being lit and everyone wishing each other a 'Merry Christmas' while singing carols at the tops of our lungs!
Special thanks to Darin James and Breds for organizing and sponsoring the best community event of the year.
This year, the often mentioned theme running through the vibe of the party was how we all are so thankful that we have weathered the storm and are coming out the other side. Each embrace was held a bit longer and season's greetings held more sincerity with the realization that things could have been so different. We are very blessed here in Treasure Beach to have so many sending us your support through prayers and various acts of kindness. We are recovering and coming back stronger and closer than ever.
Enjoy the photos of everyone here sending their holiday greetings to all of you who were not able to join us this year.
Boy Skibbo, we sure are glad you could join us this year. There was a few days where we weren't sure if you had survived the Cays in the storm.
Nelson, are you causing trouble?!?!?
To be continued . . .
Happy Birthday Jennifer!
On behalf of Eric and myself, we would like to thank all of you for your support of TB.Net during the year and we wish you and yours all the very best for the holiday season and a new year filled with joy, good health, and hope.

Hi Rebecca!
Seems you have been pretty busy during the Christmas tree lighting. It looks fantastic even though half of it was gone in the hurricane. Although I came by your house during the last part of the hurricane and we were looking at the tree, I was thinking that the Christmas tree wouldn't be the same but I have to lift my hat to all the guys for putting up branches to help make the tree look beautiful. You know I would be there if it was possible to share in the joy of Christmas with you all. My heart was there. Happy 2005 when it comes!
Say "hi" to the workmen, Judy and family for me.
Love Tojo

The tree was wonderful to see. Start with the pictures and imagine more light strings that shift on and off and sparkle and dance!
