I just got my copy and WOW. I've seen a lot of photos of Jamaica but not like these. She has a real eye, she sees 9and captures) things I never have seen.

Excellent cd, I highly recommend it!!

I agree, this would make a great gift for any fan of photography and a must gift for anyone that has visited Jamaica. While there are many photographs of Treasure Beach and Negril, for me the bonus shots were those of Port Antonio. I couldn't recommend this any more highly!

I have this CD and it's great. I was viewing the photos when my seventeen year old son asked me what I was looking at. He starting viewing it with me and now he wants me to take him to Jamaica. My husband and I have been to Jamaica many times and these photos reminded me of why I love this island and it's people. I highly recommend this CD.

"Great Stocking Stuffer" is putting it mildly. I received a copy of the CD as a Christmas gift (yes, I already opened it) and I am addicted. This lady has amazing talent. I have been to the Caribbean several times and she really captures the feel. The photos are so captivating, the CD is worth far more than $20. I also checked out her website. More amazing photos there, especially the autumn stuff.

Signed 'giclee' prints of Jane's work can also be
had of Jamaica, NH and Maine, the Far West, Nova Scotia, Burano/Italy and some brilliant
experimental work.
See the ad here on tb net for more info.

Other professional photographers who've taken some great shots in TB include KATE GLYNN (see Villa Ja Ja shots here) and ROBERT HOFFMAN (see his landscapes and portraits, including some of staff in Billy's Bay at La Casa Duna by google searching under 'YS Falls, Jamaica').

I second everything said here. These are some great photos of very beautiful places in Jamaica. Definitely worth the low price!

I watched CARIBBEAN CANTATA during a New Hampshire snowstorm. The gorgeous photographs transported me to exotic scenes, warm and dazzling with brilliant colors everywhere, houses, foliage, flowers, clothing, beaches. Beneath the vivid scenery are implied stories, subtle social commentary, and even philosophy: As a sign in one of the photos says, "Just Be Nice Friends and Have Fun." This CD takes you on a wonderful journey!

We got the Caribbean Cantata as a gift and the whole family loved it. [This in itself is unusual since we don't often agree on the same things as our 11 yr olds!] Jane has the ability to capture the mood of Jamaica as well as the subject and bring you back to that warm sunshine feel of the island and its people.
We promptly ordered another Cantata to ship to some friends who are no longer able to travel. I know they'll love it as Jamaica is their favorite place in the world.

Many thanks to those who have posted kind comments about my CD, CARIBBEAN CANTATA, on this site.

Some viewers have asked how they can pause
the CD in the middle of (for instance) a
long chapter of photos, and return later
to that image in the chapter and then
resume the show. You can do that by
bookmarking the page where you stopped.
Then you can return to it later by
selecting it from your list of bookmarks
(favorites).

My wife and I are continuing to love Caribbean Cantata. Beautiful work! We watch a few pics pratically every day and they take us away from frigid N.E. into paradise.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, and each of these pictures is less than a penny apiece...well, you do the math! Bottom line: Caribbean Cantata is quite a treasure trove of images. Grant the photographer honorary Jamaican citizenship posthaste!
