Kirk has made a couple of postsing here, the most noteworthy in my opinion is was to a profile of the month for Miss Ditha.

I was moved by it and was very pleased when he sent in some pictures to go along with his story of being in Iraq for both of the wars fought there in the past decade plus. So I decided to post them here.

Treasure Beach had a very special visitor today. Thanks so much for coming by, Kirk, and spending some time at the school and looking up some old friends and relatives. I am sorry I was in Black River while you were in Treasure Beach.

Kirk is now off to Afghanistan. We wish him well on his tour of duty and look forward to his messages to the forum which he promised to send to us from time to time.
