Rebecca says that today everyone took some time to rest. Some went to church, other went swimming. Life is starting to return to normal.

The good news of the day: Water is Back in the pipes! She was so excited that she could take a real shower again.

And almost as good news: There is electricity and phones in Black River, South Field, and even as close as Crossroads. So must soon come to TB.

Keep in mind:
-The water in the pipes isn't 100% drinkable as the purification plants have been off line. So that water must still be boiled.
-Lots of houses have damage to the electricity line going to the light poles. So it may take some time for them to have curent in the house when electricity does return to the area.

But its all going in the right direction.

WATER IN THE PIPES!?!?!? Hah Lay LOO yah!!

After Charley passed thru Jamaica, I experienced just a short time with little to no water in the pipes, and as much as it was an inconvenience, we were still able to buy bottled water in the shops.

I can't imagine how rough it has been this week. I can deal with no current, I actually enjoy the silence, but water is such a basic need that we all take for granted.

Great News Eric & Rebecca. Thanks

Hi Friends-What great news we continue to hear! I have spoken to Janet Todd (Lyric) and Preacher (Sparkling Waters) on Sunday. Both thank everyone for their prayers. If you have checked the pictures, you have seen Lyric! Preacher is especially thankful for everyone who has sent good vibes towards Jamaica and can't say enough THANK YOUS. Keep the prayers and especially monies coming. THANK YOU especially, Eric and Rebecca! Without this web site, we would have gone crazy I think. Just knowing our "FAMILY" made it through is a blessing, but all your info has been invaluable. Keep up the good work. Susan & David--See you in October
