William Mafood of Wysinco has been very very generous and prompt about sending much needed beverages to the TB area. I have very good memories of Wysinco from when I was doing Environmental Education at Munro College. They set up a recycling program to collect the plastic bottles their (and other) companies sold.

PayPal, especially Perry and Andrew who work there, has also been very helpful to me. In fact, they have lowered the rate charged on credit card transaction from 2.9 to 2.5% based on the amount of donations we've already received. By their standard rules, we should not have been eligible for this until next month, but they went outside the box and gave us the break. If we can clear $10,000 this month, then in October the rate will go down to 2.1%. COme on guys, we can do it. http://treasurebeach.net/guide/ivan/ivanrelief.html

And I'd also like to thank my boss, John, and team members at work for letting me take half sick days this week so I can devote as much time as I do to TBNet right now. Actually, the work we (and I say we because its one big team that's doing it) are doing is pretty worthy itself. We run distance learning courses for medical professionals who want to expand their skills into integrative medicine, learn about Nutrition, etc. Check it out if you've got a moment.

The links for Associate Fellowship and Nutrition & Cardiovascular Health are the on-line projects that I've worked on. If you know a medical professional who's looking to 'change medicine', turn them on to our site or have them contact me directly.

I agree big up William Mahfood and Wysinco. You can always count on them when it comes to being generous and kind. I too have very fond memories of the Mahfood family, William was the one who turned me on to Jakes and Treasure Beach 4 years ago. I almost didn't come, I said no I was going back over to Port Antonio and William said Lynnette you must go to this place it is like no other on the island, cool and mello, even picked me up at the airport and carried me over. It's hard to belive now that I ever had to be talked into going to Jakes and TB :-)
