i talked to my sister briefly awhile ago, she told me that blue marlin had no damage and will be up and running as soon as electricity comes back, coquina, did however lose a portion of its roof so it will be 3-4 weeks for repairs. the good news is, that, thanks to the wonderful natural protection of the great pedro bluff the great bay beach is still there, and did not sustain the damage that has been reported in other areas. there is , however alot of damage in the community and they need as much help as possible.
my prayers are with you all

Rebekah, I have given Stuart your number. I am sure he will contact you as soon as he is able.
I spoke to him earlier today and he seemed in good spirits. Mind you, nothing phases him, does it?! Not even Ivan The Terrible!

We'd be really grateful for information about damage to the 'Cool Runnings' bar & shop [opposite Sand Dune Villas in Gt Bay] This was bought recently by Uvaney Palmer who was in Racecourse, Clarendon during Ivan. Racecourse was hit badly with heavy flooding, loss of homes [many people still living in shelters] and like most areas they are currently struggling for water and food. At the moment Uvaney is caught up in helping family, friends in Racecourse rebuild but is desperate for news about his property which he hopes to move into as soon as he can. He has asked us in England to post this so we can get the details to him so we'd be grateful for anything you can tell us.
Have to say a huge thanks to everyone on TB net for keeping us all up to date - greatly relieved that no major casulties after Ivan and that all of our friends in TB are OK - appreciate though that things must be really tough for you all. Our thoughts are with you - especially the Genus family over at Vikings and Ital Rest also to Judith, Bimbo and everyone else we know.
Does anyone know Kencheck - from Newmarket - regular visitor to Crossroads & Gt Bay - selling fruit and food - would love to hear if he's OK.
Thanks - Linda & Alison

Thanks again for all the up-dates...It's good to hear that trucks with water is conming into the area but I just had a short phone call to Great Bay and was told they haven't had a water truck in the area yet, can someone help the people in Great Bay? Can someone contact Hughlett Dyght to find out what he is doing about the situation,please...

Thanks to all for your efforts.
God Bless you.

M Deleon.
