Hey everyone. I've got more things I'd love to do but don't have time (work is kind of wondering if I'm still alive :-)

The most important things we can do right now are:
- Get information to those worried about their loved ones in Jamaica and to those in TB so they know we're pulling for them.
- Get money into our donation funds so those in TB/Jamaica can start rebuilding, get food and clean water, etc.

Kristen, Judy, Karen, Mike, Kate, Marlon, and others have already helped. You can to!

Here's what we need

1) Spread these links to every email address and every web site you can. Especially ones like Jamaicans.com that specialize in Jamaica.

- A list of who's been report safe, etc:
http://treasurebeach.net/guide/ivan/names&places.html

-The donation page: http://treasurebeach.net/guide/ivan/ivanrelief.html

-Our web site in general: http://treasurebeach.net/

2) Consolidate info on this site. Kristen did a great job of putting together the list for the first link above. I'd love to get a list of all the well wishers who've left messages for people down in TB. I know they'll feel better when they hear from their friends and loved one. I'll relay the info to Rebecca when I talk to her.

What ever you're able to do, please post it here (what sites you put links on, how many people you emailed links to, etc) so we won't duplicate efforts and can all know what's going on.

Knowledge is Power! (And cash helps a lot too! :-)

Maximum Repsect to all who help in our efforts.

I have sent a letter to the editor of the Gleaner in hopes that they will send anyone concerned about TB (or st. bess) here to the forum. I told them to contact the webmaster (rather than giving my e-mail) I hope that this is okay?

I'm going to go post on MiYard next...i think it's for Negril, but saw posts about concern for Black River etc.

Everyone, follow her lead and send the linkto the Observer, etc. Anywhere that people who are concerned about Jamica/TB might happen to visit.

Have anyone contact me at webmaster@treasurebeach.net for more info.

I just came across this on the BBC
"We just received a telephone call from our daughter in Jamaica. She is living with the Parchment family in a little town between Treasure Beach and Great Bay. There is tremendous devastation. The roof came off the house, the outside shower and kitchen were destroyed and the septic has backfilled into the house. There is no water or electricity and no outside aid as yet but everyone in the family is thankful to be alive.
Irene MacIntyre, British Columbia, Canada"

i dont know when it was written, but thought it would be of interest here.
it came from http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/talking_point/3653274.stm
i also submitted a post to that site including the info for this forum, but dont know if it will be posted.
