People losing their lives, homes and possesions to a violent,destructive storm is never a good thing nor should be considered great for "Area Promotion"

I find this "Sales Pitch" extremely shallow and self serving and a strong indication of ignorance.

TB Runnings works just fine and is run by sincere people.

Let me step in here.

Jim, when I first read the post I had the same thought as you did. Then I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and think he meant to say 'good for getting info on the damage and people in TB after Ivan' instead of 'promoting the website/island'.

Paul, if that isn't what you meant, then let me know and I'll delete your message. Because I agree with Jim that if you did mean to use this tragedy to promote a web site (even though its mine!) or the island, its in very bad taste.

Having said that, let's leave this thread alone and concentrate on the positive things from Ivan --coummunity members coming together, no loss of life, glad to be alive feelings!

Not to drag this out, but I did get the feeling he was praising TB.net for a job well done as stated in the first line...

I think the thread title was just poorly worded.
