just got of the phone with my sister in great bay, they had a terrible time but consider themselves lucky to have been spared the eye, she reports no deaths in great bay but severe damage, with the majority of the roofs gone, part of coquinas roof is gone and blue marlin has leakage. they are all worried about the continuing storm surge and what it is doing to the beach. at this time i just want to add a lighter note saying congrats to my oldest friend, clyde parchment who told mr 2 days ago " nigel, it all inna jah hand, but me put 200 extra nail inna mi roof" his roof is one of the few still on.
may god watch over you all in tb area and know my prayers are with you

Rebecca says that --though unconfirmed-- the initial reports are that the fishermen that went to the Keys are safe and sound! We'll confirm that as soon as possible.

Again, its not definite, but our reports are that no fishermen from the greater TB area have died.

She did say that "Moses' boat was found in Cuba!"

Hello all, it's so good to see so much community spirit and pulling together as demonstrated on this site. Our best wishes to you all. Knowing that you are all looking out for each other has been a comfort to us while we wait for news of my sister Glenda Parchment and her husband Vincent Parchment living in Great Bay. We have not heard of them since Friday. If you have seen or heard news of them, please can you post here. Family in England all waiting for news.

We have just heard from Glenda and all is well. The ceiling came down and the water came into the house but compared to many they have been lucky and these things can be mended. They are safe and well that is the main thing. Thank you so much for all your help and good wishes. If we hear any news of others next time we talk we will post here but the conversation was short due to bad line. Thanks once again. Glenda and Vincent (aka Natty) Parchment, safe and well.
