All roads are passable, but not easily.

She thinks the food situation will be OK as they can slowly get supplies from the rest of the island. She is worried about clean potable water though.

There is no sand left on the beaches! Its down to bedrock almost everywhere.

I stayed in that nice little place last March and am sad it was damaged.

I spoke the USCG [US Coast Guard] this morning and Ocean Queen was last charted at 1935/7854. USCG contacted the JDF and helecopters were reportedly sent for search and rescue. Miss Ritta made contact via GSM and reported they were sinking and needed a pump.

Presumably, two ships went out- one towing the other that had mechanical problems. Nothing to confirm at this moment about wellness Moses and his crew, but those are the facts above.

Lisa would really like to know if South Jammin' still has a roof on?

When I read about the 200 additional nails that helped a roof stay on in Billy's Bay I started to think of an easy to install and reasonable possibility to prevent from flying roofs ... once they are back on.

It was so shocking to see on the satellite photo this huge thing right on top of sweet Jamaica. Now, with all the good news from the Tb area it is some relief especially to hear about beloved friends. Rebecca, thank you indeed.

Thank you for keeping us so well informed. I have seen nothing posted about the well being of Hazel Ebanks & Patsy and Omar or about Noreen and Carl Millington. Are they OK and how did their homes fare?

We were gone a day and glad to be back for news.
Is there any news from Pedro Plains? We echo concerns for the Henrys, Millingtons, Hazel Ebanks and family.

Was the Miss Ruby who lost her roof Ruby Lee or another Ruby? Our first thought was Ruby Lee.

We are all wandering if anybody has heared anything about Precka (Hurlsey Moxam) who went to sea on his boat, his sister Chinna Moxam is in England and is worried sick about him, we understand that uncle moses and the crew members are fine and brought back to Jamaica, but our concerns remains with Preckha, should anyone has any sufficient information please do not hesitate to contact me by email.

I just read Tojo your message over the telephone (he called me at 8:30 p.m.)...he says your mother is O.K. All of your uncles , including George are fine. Your brother Mal Hill is fine and Nerissa Hill is also alright.
I often speak with Miriam in Brooklyn (at least once per week), she is alright and Janine is still in Jamaica (she rode out the storm with her daddy). They are all o.k.

You mentioned getting a "hug from Bebe" (my nephew} and that brought tears to my eyes and I thank God for sparing lives in Jamaica and wish I was able to receive one of those hugs from my relatives. Looking for information on the Falconers in Flagaman - Louie, Gerald, Osbourne and families. They are my uncles. Also my aunt, Delph Coke has a bar there. Would like to know if there's damage if possible. I believe she's in Florida right now so information about her daughters Jackie and Andrea would be appreciated. said she got some water from the Sandy Bank school. She said they got a few drums of water delivered by the MP, she said things are really though no gas at the station forthe vehicles and

I spoke with Celeste and David last night...was going to do everything I could to get through...and it worked. They are so in awe of your efforts..(along with Eric) in communicating with all of us...the family, friends,(old and new), and neighbors. Celeste was of course concerned about you and your stamina...just knowing that you're giving it your all...and not resting. They hope to see you soon..."Stay strong." They are in a big need of candles...if you come across any...as we are trying to help in that area...but it might take days, if not weeks. Celeste said please let Bonnie and David (Professors at Union College) know that they're okay, and will be in touch when they can. They hope to be in better shape for their visit in December. The damage could be worse..but their hopes are high...they are not discouraged. Tell them that Quest is okay too, please. We are all praying for them. Aubrey...(Lucia's husband)...found in Cayman, but all belongings lost...car and house. So many lost their lives also. TB's Women's Group will get together and plan strategy to help community. One Love.
