A representative from TPDCo. (Tourism Product Development Company) has arranged a meeting with TPDCo, NEPA, a representative from the Ministry of Health, and the Fire Department for Thursday, March 26 from 10.00 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Sports Park to discuss compliance.

Please make an effort to attend as we need to express our concerns and to show we are willing to work together to come up with solutions to the issues holding many back from being compliant with the Jamaica Tourist Board.

Please contact Rebecca at Rebecca@treasuretours.info if you will be attending.

Thank you!

"fire department"? Blahhaha! How can you have a fire department with no fire truck etc? Is this a joke? Or firemen? Firefighters in TB? Again, Blahhaha! Are you [edited by TB.Net] kidding me?

This pesticide regulatory authority is under the supervision of the Minister of Health.

Please request an answer to the following:

Can the government of Jamaica through the offices of the health ministry and all responsible
reassure the residents of the Greater Treasure Beach area that the current use of agricultural poisons and the burning of non organic and valuable organic material locally is not affecting the health of said residents.

Also, are spray operators and pesticide sellers registered and checked as stated in the law.

The Tourist Board had promised environmental guidelines many months ago. As the UN and Vision 2030 states that the condition of the environment is of primary importance, the delay or dodging of this by a body who should get NEPA to draft such a guide, is a symptom of operational weakness. Please prove otherwise.

I introduced myself at a couple meetings and told of my interest in developing a museum, workshop and sustainable living system.

I'm well into water collecting, solar energy, hill garden, identification of dry land crops and invite a study of animal and plant populations.

There does not seem to be much interest in this art.

How about the needs of the community businesses? Jtb needs to comply with us, not the other way around. Without us there is no jtb!
