On a recent trip I had the pleasure to meet a real cool lady. As I was walking the street towards Smurfs, I heard this shuffle behind me. Knowing someone was catching up fast, I turned to look, and met Lillian James. She walks faster than me and she said she is 86! As we chatted awhile sitting on a fence, she said she was going to see a friend at the coffee shop. She walked this distance from Sandy Bank.She left, continued her journey as I stayed on the fence to catch my breath. Suddenly, there she was again! I asked "you are not walking all that way back are you?" Her friend was not there she said, so she had to walk back..We took a few photos, joked about getting married. (I am 56 and something tells me she will outlive me). I of course got her a ride home, even though this sweet woman would no doubt had made it just fine. Tell her hi for me.

The locals know me as Kenny Rogers... One of the Swaby's cemented that name on me.
