But I'm just glad I can be doing something from here. And very happy its helping people get information on what's going on. We've had about 4 times as many visitors per day since last Thursday/Friday, with about 2500 coming through in a day.

And if the land lines are up next Tuesday, as someone said, then it will be especially useful for getting messages, funds, and supplies down to TB.

Knowledge is power.

Eric and Rebecca, Thank you for maintaining this site and for being the only outlet for information and communication for Treasure Beach. We all love this community so very much and I know I was not alone feeling sick with worry for the last several days. The road ahead is long, but I am sure that we will all rebuild and be stronger for it. Give thanks and Praise.

Ah true dat Kristin. I have constantly been visiting the site over the last few days and relaying info to others that don't have net access - it has been a godsend as for many of us, it has been the only link - I am still waiting for news of many people - (so far have only had contact from 1 friend at Southfield) - Please keep the messages coming.

I just want to say thank you so much. I am in tears writing this because it is really coming from my heart. You both have helped "US" all so much who have family and friends whom we love dearly in TB. Without you there would have been absoloutely no connection whatsoever to the South Coast. We have all relied so heavily on this website to keep us in-touch with TB.

You efforts are greatly appeciated and will not go un-noticed. I look forward to seeing you both again and giving you BIG HUGS for being our dependable and factual connection to Treasure Beach, JA. BIG, BIG UP to you both.

Eric, these postings have been indispensable! You are probably much too humble, but could we please have a TB Profile of the Month regarding yourself? You can't imagine how heroic your maintenance efforts have been to us!

Amen! I agree with all of you! This board has kept me from going crazy. It has been so hard being out of touch, and at least we knew ASAP no one had died. Now it is relaying information we all need so badly to hear.
