What is Munro like as an area. I hear it gets very cold in the evenings.

It gets cooler than the coastal area for sure. My Jamaican friends say its cold, my foreign friends say its a nice break from the heat.

A light jacket at night is fine if you're used to a cooler climate; break out the parka if you think 80 degrees is cold.
