I recently took the Knutsford Express from Negril to Kingston (I have taken it before but only on the north coast route). I was surprised to discover that it makes two stops quite near Treasure Beach - one is Luana, north of Black River, and the other is Santa Cruz. There's also a Mandeville stop.
I do not know what a charter taxi costs from these places to TB (or how often route taxis might run from them) but I imagine it's quite a bit less than from MoBay or Kingston. The Knutsford is around $2500 for the longest routes.
The schedule is limited but if it works, it could be a very inexpensive yet quick trip to TB compared to charter taxi or buses/route taxis so I thought I'd mention it.
It's a comfortable ride, complete with comp water, movies, AC, etc.
Anyone know charter rates from those stops and/or route taxi rates and availability to TB?

They discontinued the Santa Cruz stop after introducing the Luana stop. They often have service to most major festival on the island, they had direct service to Calabash. Excellent service. How much is a taxi from Luana, Santa Cruz and Mandeville to TB - anyone know? Are there fairly direct route taxis from those places?
