DASTARDLY DEED IN TREASURE BEACH
The Citizens of Treasure Beach has a new crisis. Red Cross offered to construct and erect with CIDA Funds the sixty three road signs project initiated by Citizen's Alert Group. On the 16th April,2014 Red Cross erected sixteen road signs, most changed to different names and some "alien" with the alleged assistance of the St. Elizabeth Parish Council. We have the the original approval.We have consulted a lawyer. We are demanding that the fraudulent signs be removed by the St. Elizabeth Parish Council. We are inviting you the citizens and stake holders of Treasure Beach to a town hall meeting April 22nd 2014 - 10am at Treasure Beach Women's Centre. There is a general disgruntlement from both citizens and tourism operatives.Neither Red Cross nor St. Elizabeth Parish Council did not consult with Citizen's Alert Group on any changes initiated by them. The Senior Citizens whom we honoured by placing their names on signs were removed also. We insist that the wrong and immoral must be made right. Attend the meeting and let your voice be heard.
