I got this today from Ann Lyons:

To All our Dear Friends and Customers,

After a bit of a struggle, my partners and I have decided we must close Cuilloden Cafe. It is with huge regret but the economics of the situation have to be faced. We feel like we were a bit ahead of our time in this neighborhood. We will be closing the doors on Aug. 31. However, we will be re-opening in a month or two as a vacation villa. The building will be re-fitted to make you comfortable, in a more personal way. We will be offering our lovely food to guests of the villa only. We will be able to accommodate 6, in the beginning and we hope we see you all here again. Thanks for all your support and patronage over the last 8 years.

Love,
Ann Lyons

It is located in Culloden, a little district just outside of Whitehouse as you are heading towards Belmont in the parish of Westmoreland.

I was really sorry to hear about this. Such amazing food, and we would stop on our way over to Negril from Mandeville.

Ann makes the best deserts and biscotti in Jamaica - so what we should all do is to continue to support her in anyway - villas out there, hotels on the south coast....you can order her tia maria no-flour cake (that won an award), her key lime pie, huge array of cookies, and biscotti.
