What lessons can we learn from an incident involving local villa owner, Bruce Bicknell (of luxury Seaweed Villa -Old Wharf) accused of bribing a policeman ONLY $2000 to have a speeding ticket dismissed?

With the frequency of police roadblocks & random stops, around any bend, inquiring & searching for guns, drugs & mysterious contraband, how should the quasi-innocent act when it is the police who ask for a likkle lunch money when they say such absurdities as "you were observed driving off before your seat belt was clicked into place...you know dere's a fine for dat, but... know your rights. the police may not conduct a search without a compelling reason to believe a crime is being committed.
