Has anyone tried to use their Canadian debit cards in Jamaica ? I would be interested to hear your experience and where and what banks you can use them . Grateful for any input .

Over the years I have used my TD card a number of times at the Scotia in Black River. I have never had any issues.

no problem using a canadian bank debit card at the following banks in jamaica, ncb, cibc, scotia, lol well that is unless there is no money or the machine is down, which does happen sometimes

look for the plus sign on the back of your card
if you have a bank of nova scotia account, you will save on extra charges for withdrawal ($2.50 to 5.00 cdn usually)

most machines only allow you to withdrawal $15,000 JD at a time with a max. of $30, 000 JD per machine per day
on occasion i have found machines that dispense $30,000 at a time, but only one time a day no matter what you limit at home is

one love
