I think we'd like to stay at Jakes for our wedding and I would like to compile a list of nearby hotels for some of our guests.

I would prefer it if the nearby hotels were within walking distance, just because it would simplify so much!

Sunset Resort is real close. Walking distance. That is where I stay. As for meals, Sunset has the biggest lobster around. Wider than my hand, and I have fat hands! Nice swimming pool too, and a wonderful helpful staff.

There are a number of hotels and villas that are very close. Calabash House is a five minute walk and the whole house can be rented or they rent rooms seperately. It's very clean, air conditioned, on the beach and has fantastic staff. There is our villa 'Lyric' which is also beachfront and can accommodate 6 with swimming pool and and the best cook in Treasure Beach (3 minute walk from Jakes). Between Lyric and Jakes is Sunset Resort Villas which is a small hotel. Very clean and comfortable, ocean front with pool. Jakes is next and then there is Folichon Villa beside Jakes which is also beachfront, wonderful location and sleeps 8 (I believe). Down from there is the Treasure Beach Hotel. The Sunset Resort is right next to Jakes. We have stayed there several times. The staff is wonderful, and accomodations are nice. You can access their site from the Places to Stay section. I highly recommend it!
