I would like to know why they wont fix the treasre beach road, its ashame, mr jason henzle you need to talk to some one about it, it a bussy street fot sports park, shame shame pot holes
Why should it be Jason's responsibility to talk to them? It never ceases to amaze me that when someone is active in a community, others find more things for that person to do. In any event, it is not for lack of knowledge that those roads have not been fixed.
Well dont get me wrong about mentioning mr henzle, the reason for that is the community is highly represented by him,so I figure more or less they would listen to.
why don't we all come together as a community and try to do something about it. don't put it on Jason alone he is not god please.he dosent own the roads.
I think the citizens of Treasure Beach should get involved What is the MP doing? The roads are full with potholes...shame on the MP.
In all the time I have been visiting this forum I cannot recall anyone canvassing support from their elected Councillors or Member of Parliament (MP)to rectify the appalling infrastructure which is a blight on the community. There are constant rumblings on the Forum but nothing more. This energy is not been used positively. It seems to me that it is an issue that successive administrations have ignored and will continue to ignore. To this end it is the community that has to make it a priority. These officials should be pro-active in getting things done and be accountable to their constituents not sit on their laurels until the next election. I am at a loss to understand what their role or function is. Treasure Beach could offer so much more if only.......
Yes, is Mr Henzell not the link between the Parish Council and the community?

Unnu waan freedom!?
Pickup unnu shovel and spend a beer money on some tar or cement.
But, wi really done want freedom. Slave food easier.
If people don't pay taxes roads don't get fixed and hospitals don't get built. It's that simple. Outside oft he PAYE system only 18,000 people pay taxes voluntarily. Until that changes, there is no money to fix roads. We can always ask the Chinese though as they will soon own us.
I would like to refer all the posters here to a posting titled COMMUNITY MEETING on the 15th may 2013 in which the subject of roads repair were discussed. Note the frivolous and disconcerting way the MP addressed the issue. If we really want it done, we will have to do it our selves. I would suggest that the NGOs start promoting fund raising events for the purpose.
People need to cooperate and fix the pothole everybody knows that the MP hardly show up in this area.the other day I saw a young man in the area with his truck a little blue one and his workmen doing an excellent job.I was made to understand by his workman that he did it out of his pocket,we need more people like that young man in our community several times I come on this site and I never see one single person comment on that.Big up u self Sir ,well done.
It is the MP responsibility... I am sure they have budgets for roads improvement he is getting a salary. I agree Yes, citizens should pay taxes but who' s fault is it? If Chinese take over Jamaica they only support their own people... they will take you out of job in a minute to give their own people I think this is something to think about.
Something like 20% of every gal.of fuel we buy was added to fix roads. I don't hear anyone saying anything about that.
What happened to Jamaica? Look like some get spoiled and turn beach boy.
I remember a time when the community would rally together and get up stand up.
Wise up! Stop rely on Jason fi every likkle issue.
If everyone called the district councilor and voiced the same concern, I am sure they would get the message. You get what you expect!
You guys really should be complaining to the MP
SO true WHA.too much complain and no action we fi come together and do something Jason is not the MP.
Sometimes I wonder if when some of us read we dont understand, no one was expecting jason henzle to go fix the road, it was only a suggestion if he could make some contact to the mp or higher person seen that he plays the roll of a community person and he is alson incharge of jack sprat, jakes sports park, come on man stop being ignorant, think about how man tourist who rides scoutets daily and other local resident
Thank you Timmy....
No, we should not be complaining, rather, demanding that they do their jobs!
People hardly have any income in treasure beach right now, the fishing industry has gone out of reach, farming is on his face, taxi have to buy tires nearly every trip they make, strrout, cv joint and othe part, so where would they get that money to help fix roads
Dear god, am asking you kindly please to open up the hearts ofthose who are responsible to fix the road before it get fatal, please lord hear our cry
What about getting in touch with the tourist board and the minister of tourism and see if treasure beach is qualifies for fund under the tourism enchantment fund(hope that right)majority of the minor road in Jamaica are deplorable and government telling you they are short of cash so its a up hill battle but if we unite our voices maybe we will be heard .
Thank you, "live on yah" well appreciated.
It's been like this all over the Island.None of the MP them care about the roads because they can change fe dem vehicle wit the same money dem get fi fix the road dem.
One day one a dam might drop in a one and me hope no one no help fe get them out.
Wha you reap a wha yu a go sow.
