Has anyone visiting noticed, what locals have known for sometime, that there are so many places here-abouts to have delicious, varied foods at "fast-food" prices...J$500 (US$5) or less.
You've got to wonder at the ingenuity of cook shops, with the prices
of meats, veggies & other pantry supplies, how they can make a profit & support families. Is it because they are in close relationships with farmers & poultry/livestock vendors, or raising their own, to hold down costs?
Bless all these brave souls who feed us to steady satisfaction, at a value almost better than we could for ourselves.
