Congratulations to Orinthia Bennett in winning, not one, but 2 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal at the Caribbean Union of Teachers 10th Biennial Student's Track & Field Championships held on July 16 and 17 at the National Stadium in Kingston. Orinthia's gold medals were won in the under 13 javelin with a throw of 23.22 meters and in the 100 meters run in 13.16 seconds.

Orinthia is the daughter of Nanny Bennett, owner of the Bird's Nest Bar located in Kingfisher Plaza, Calabash Bay.
