Interested in Ital Rest & Vikings. Any advice on which one? We always stay in Negril but looking for something different & took a day trip to TB once & always wanted to stay.

Vikings has electricity Ital does not. WIFI at Vikings.

Ital is more like your own little cottages where as Vikings you get rooms in a house. Bar at Ital.

Same family, same yard, same beach.

I preferred Vikings.
Nice rooms and good deal.
Only small problem is that both (Great Bay) are a bit isolated from Frenchmen Bay where most of the happenings are. However, that may not be a problem for you.

Thanks for the answers. It is helpful. The Ital cottages just look so cute but that electricity thing is making Vikings more attractive especially if it was really hot & you needed the fan. I saw when I was there how isolated it was but that seemed kind of nice & peaceful to me for a change. Are there other places with a nice quiet peaceful vibe that may be closer to the action in case we felt like some? I'm open to any suggestions except for high end properties because of cost. Thanks.

one of the cleanest guesthouses i have ever stayed in, very peaceful and quiet yard, you are across from frenchmens beach and steps to bars, shops and cookshops in the area

just a suggestion

YOu can rent a scooter or bicycle and get from Great Bay to Frenchmans if you feel like action, such as it is in TB. But Great Bay has a couple of beach bars and restaurants as well.
