Kory, of Sunset Resort, it seems, is always doing something nice for the community in a quiet way.

He just bought all the posts, concrete, mesh and supplies for a fence at the Sandy Bank Basic School when he noticed a child running into the street after a ball.

He saw a problem and did something about it. Next time you're at the Post Office, check it out.

I just received a phone call from Kory in response to the above message. He wanted to make sure we mentioned Axel and Andrea of Mar Blue Domicil, who heard the story of the child running into the street and Kory purchasing the fencing and came to him donating more funds for this project.

Mar Blue Domicil and Sunset Resort are two businesses (of many) within Treasure Beach who are fine examples of how tourism can work for and with the community.
