Good news for renters!!
Even though Rainbow Point Villa comfortably sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, we’ve discovered a lot of couples choose to rent the villa for themselves. Nonetheless, we’ve been charging them the minimum rate for 4 people. Starting on 4/20/13 (the onset of our low season), we have reduced our rates to make them more fair and affordable for only 2 people.
Yes, anyone renting Rainbow Point gets exclusive use of the full villa, pool, grounds, and full-time staff. The only thing that’s changed is the rental rate.
Please also note that children less than 2 are free of charge, and those aged 2 – 12 are half price.
Our updated rate card, photos, a floor plan, and other information are on our website: www.rainbowtreevillas.com.
This villa looks beautiful. Is there a good view of the sea?
Rainbow Point's land is right on the sea. I remember when Patsy used to have weddings there before it was fixed up and called Rainbow Point. The view is a big reason there were so many events there because it is on a point and you can see up to the Pedro bank on the east and all the way to the end of Billys Bay on the west. I have not seen it since it got fixed up but I think the pool is very close to the sea and if I am right the view would be one of the best.
The view could not be better. You can see the sea from the large covered verandah, from the yard and from the pool deck. On the right is the fishing beach but it is down a hill so you get zero noise from it and they can't see you.
There are excellent views of the sea from Rainbow Point. Here are several:
From the seaside verandah
On the pool deck
Looking east to the Pedro Cay

Yes that's the view I was talking about. I can't believe that pool and how much work must have been done to the house and property. This is a far cry from when it was Coyaba.
Am dreaming of the taste of fresh picked jellies.
Is there any site where we can see all the villas in one place to compare them.
Check out the Where to Stay section of this site for the most complete list of accommodations within Treasure Beach in one website.
Thank you kindly.
I went to the Treasure Tours website and there are numerous villas and other accommodations listed there. The low season rates are usually far less than high season especially when it comes to the villas. I am curious why you don't have a chart that lists all the rates in one place. I do understand people should not necessarily shop by price but I would find it a useful tool. If I knew a rate was going to go down by $500 a week I would wait until the rate dropped. I have been to Treasure Beach in both the summer and the winter and as far as I am concerned the weather is fine for my needs all year round. I am thinking a higher rate on your pretty little postcards might be turning off some possible tourists.
I am not meaning to bash your site because it is very good. Please do not take my comments that way.
Thank you for your suggestions "speaking of rates". We do have a Price List page listing all of the rates in one page. Currently, if a villa or guest house offers an off-season rate you can find it listed right after the in-season rates in each ad for the villa or guest house. The "summer specials" are listed in the introductory post cards on the Accommodations Page once the rates are in effect. However, your suggestion is a good one to put the summer rates right by the winter rates on the Price List page.
And you are absolutely correct, any time of year is a great time to come to Treasure Beach!
