A small boutique hotel at Fort Charles. Lovely beach, seaweed pool. go for a gallop at Fort Charles Bay with one of the horses, lovely accommodations, food and very relaxing, clean and comfortable surroundings.

OMG I am in heaven.

Could someone say if the Cove Jamaica Hotel at Ft Charles is really the old Finlason property...Button Bay Beach Resort, and if so, does it still have some of Gladys' touches...such as her caged song birds?

What's this about horseback riding at Starve Gut Bay? Are the horses stabled at the property where William Finlason used to keep his prized goats before his passing, and will we be able to ride all the way on the beach in the direction of Parrotee?

Who are the new operators of the "Cove", and have they bought the property or leasing?

The Cove is what used to be Button Bay. It's been fixed up and re-named.

We saw the horses being fed on the water side of the road, but when we walked by, there was nothing where the prized goats used to be - it was kind of sad, I missed seeing all the floppy eared goats.

Cornwall (Great Britain) & Ft Charles (Treasure Beach) now have a direct connection in that the folks who operate a boutique hotel above Lamorna Cove near Lands End in England are now running their sister location at the old Button Bay B & B.

Take a look-see at the slightly personal stamp that the new operators have put on a locale where the Finlasons devoted a lot of loving care:

The photo shows lobsters not from Jamaica. Could be updated.
