Treasure Beach's good friend and talented artist, Patrick Waldemar, became entranced by 'the Buttonwood tree' on one of his last visits to Treasure Beach and this is the result.
For a look at more of Mr. Waldemar's art click on http://www.patrickwaldemar.com. You may notice a few of his other paintings are scenes painted while staying at Mar Blue Domicil in Calabash Bay.
If you find yourself looking for a place to stay around the Ocho Rios/Boscobel area, I would highly recommend Mr. Waldemar's villa, Loose Ends, where you are treated to more of his wonderful artwork, especially the mural in the living room!
REBECCA, ARE HIS PAINTINGS AVAILABLE FOR SALE? A PURCHASE OPTION IS NOT ON HIS WEBSITE.
I'm not sure, however, there is a contact button on his site giving his email address. You could contact him directly to find out.
One of Patrick Waldemar's watercolors is the cover art for this June 2004 issue of the magazine INTERNATIONAL ARTIST with an article inside as well on the murals and artwork in LooseEnds. His work is getting major play now
in US galleries. Contact Patrick at wald@cwjamaica.com -- he's in Kingston, Boscobel and often Miami
