To our surprise, we learned yesterday that we are the grand prize winners of the Treasure Beach Foundation's Annual Raffle Fundraising Event. We couldn't be more excited and happier to learn that we will again be returning to our beloved Treasure Beach and especially Rainbow Tree Villa. We have been coming to Treasure Beach and staying at either Rainbow Tree or Rainbow Point for so many years. We have formed long term personal relationships with some of the wonderful people who live in this special place. Treasure Beach Foundation's mission is one that we have dearly supported since it's inception. The foundation has done so much good deeds in Treasure Beach for it's childrens' education and so many other worthy causes over the years. The foundation has been a beacon of light and hope to the entire community. Those involved in the foundation's work - it's founders, it's board members and volunteers are special people. They have demostrated their love and respect for this very special community. Everyone involved has constantly "paid it forward" to many worthy and special Treasure Beach people. It is an honor and a priviledge to have been involved in many of Treaure Beach Foundation's work and efforts. To win a week to stay at Rainbow Tree Villa, with Laura and Aman Parchment, and to again be able to spend special times with so many we love in the Treasure Beach community, this truly is a dream come true. We are grateful to be the winners of this very special prize. We applaud the founders of the Treasure Beach Foundation for having the vision and the heart to do all that they have done for the entire Treasure Beach community - especially the wonderful children. We also applaud the many special children who have won these education scholorships and have used these wonderful gifts to make a difference in their lives and the lives of many others in their families and their community. We can't wait to come back to our beloved Treasure Beach to enjoy this wonderful gift that has been extended to us. We have gotten over our disappointment at not being the winners, and can truthfully say we are happy for you. Since we will be there anyway, we are saved from having to choose which of our great grown-up kids and even better grandkids would be the winners. We are so happy to be a part of this great community benefit. And also happy that we soon come!! Counting the days, packing, craving your warmth and sunshine as we look out at our first snowstorm.
